If I recall correctly, the need to log out and back in has "plagued" several firmware versions, at least for some people. Could be a lot worse. I've had to do a factory reset/recovery/update after a firmware update, and trust me, that was way less fun. Not a big deal, but worrying until it at least reverted to the original firmware, and then I got to wonder whether the latest would screw it up all over again!
