Actually they're not worried about people ripping them off at all, which is consistent as they've already zipped up their entire site and distributed it as a zip file torrent. If anyone wants to get everything that was hosted on TPB all they have to do is download the zip, which is apparently less than 100 megabytes.

The noise they're making is about the copycat sites charging for downloads and mention of concerns about the security of anyone who divulges information to the copycat sites, such as Paypal account information. Although to be fair, anyone who pays for purported TPB downloads probably isn't too clued in anyway and could probably do with a wakeup call.
