Free book (nook & Kindle) - Enchanting the Lady [Historical Paranormal Romance]

Enchanting the Lady, by Katheryne Kennedy, is this week's Free Fridays book, courtesy of Dorchester Publishing, who're in the process of switching over to all e-books and have certainly been giving away a lot of them lately at the major stores. I hope all their freebies have netted them a little sales boost.

This is the first in her "Merlin" trilogy of paranormal romance set in Victorian times, with people chasing after Arthurian relics. Apparently it's got a were-lion in it.

Last week's Free Fridays book (Gemma Halliday's Romantic Mystery, Scandal Sheet, still free) had a problem where the B&N site had a glitch and charged some people full price for it, even though the book page said "Get Free eBook/$0.00" which is usually a guarantee that the book is free, until they finally got it fixed.

B&N did refund people and they've probably taken steps to ensure it doesn't happen again, but just in case, I'd wait to see if any complaints come up on the official announcement thread before 1-clicking, if I were you. And check my order confirmation to see any charges.

Synopsis
In Victorian London where titles are based on the inheritance of magical powers, a were-lion's obsessive quest for Merlin's relics will threaten his love for a disinherited duchess-as well as their very lives.
