One problem I've just noticed myself is that, for most of the short stories, all that's visible in the TOC is "The Adventure of...". I think I'll shorten the titles and replace, for example:
Adventure III. The Adventure of the Dancing Men
by simply:
III. The Dancing Men
Does that seem like a reasonable solution?
