Mistakenly overwrote edited epub file -- Can I recover?

After editing an epub file in Sigil, I mistakenly overwrote it in Calibre using a Lit to epub conversion instead of an intended epub to epub conversion.

Is there anyway to recover this file? Does Calibre have some sort of a cache or history where I can get it back from? Does Sigil?

The edited version does exist on my Touch's Stanza but AFAIK, there is no way to get the file off of Stanza back to my PC. Or is there?

Any help will be appreciated. I feel like a real dope for doing this as I had done this by accident once before and should have known better to delete the Lit file once I didn't need it anymore.

I'm on Windows XP3.
