Once you develop the eye for typos you start to find them everywhere. I'm reading a hardback at the moment, published in the 1970s, quality edition, and am amazed at the number of errors in the text, usually missing letters that turn one word into another, "I" where it should have been "It", "ashes" where it should have been "lashes", etc.
Of course a pbook is very easy to fix, you just need a pencil.
