Surely by now you've figured out that there are multiple 'free' ebook sites. Simply buy a decent ebook reader (hit a rich neighbor over the head, maybe ) and then download free ebooks in the format you want.

(Okay, I'm kidding around. I sympathize with you. Have you thought of checking out a used Sony or Bookeen ebook reader?)
