Chris Behrsin's
A Cat's Guide to Bonding with Dragons was free a while back, and it looked kind of fun, and I'm not above reading a YA title now and then, and so I grabbed it and read it and enjoyed it. I then got distracted by some other books in my TBR pile, so I didn't read any more in the series, but I did put Behrsin in my eReaderIQ list, and now the first book is free again, and the next two books in the series are on sale for $0.99/£0.99 at Kindle US/UK. (They are also in KU, if you have that.)
Cat's Guide reminded me a little bit of Helen Harper's Slouch Witch series, even though that's an unusual comparison for a YA title...
