Augustine of Hippo, Saint: Of Christian Doctrine, v.1, 14 June 2008.

An English translation of De Doctrina Christiana. The first three books were written in 397 CE, and the fourth was added in 426 CE.
This is an anonymous Victorian translation from the ‘Select Library of Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers.’

As well as exegesis, Augustine uses his training in logic and rhetoric, noting that these are useful skills.
