No, it is not.
Directory /usr/share/nuance/data always contains a pair of voices (AKA voice pack), male + female.
The hack is able to merge /mnt/us/usertts/male with /mnt/us/usertts/female to form a /usr/share/nuance/data replacement. The standalone voices cannot be used for TTS.
