Don't really have an answer. I do however use InDesign everyday & can think of a couple things you might try.

Did you export the PDF or did you create it by printing it using Acrobat? The resultant PDF's are not exactly the same I know the PDF's I produce for print won't work in my printers imposition software properly if I export them. Maybe try whichever method you didn't use if you have the ability.

Are the TIFF's compressed (LZW, ZIP, JPEG compression)? I usually make sure to save all TIFF's as uncompressed to help with any problems.


Like I said, no idea really, just a couple thoughts.
