Yes and no. The html design of the page is rather advanced (fixed-height DIV sections with scrollable content) -- most well designed websites won't use them and most poorly designed ones don't even think to try.
There are ways to design this type of page through javascript and make it more compatible. I don't know if the owners of the site are open to suggestions, but you might drop them a note saying you can't read your purchased books on android tablets and point them to the
iscroll alternative implementation.

That might be a long way off. The upcoming update will be to Android 2.2 and that still lacks support for this function. It is unknown whether 2.3 will fix this issue.
