Can you explain in what way the time-limiting DRM provided by Adobe and used by libraries is a "scam", and in what way we are being "taken for a ride" by it? Do you honestly think that any mainstream publisher would be willing to provide ebooks to libraries without some form of expiry for loans? Libraries
need DRM, and Adobe provides it.
