Before finding out she has hatred of fan fiction, I've read
Outlander. I found it awful. The time-travel is just a gimmick and doesn't really work. It's just rather unrealistic and the main female lead is just so unlikable. It's just too long as well. It plods on for too long going nowhere. Why it keeps getting nominated I'll never know.
That is an awful Scottish accent.
I've heard plenty of real ones and can tell when one is a poor imitation.
