Reference to be beaten in terms of usability and functionality would be the Pocketbook 622.
Just take a look at an example of the Pocketbook software (here on a 903) -

Also the rooted version of the Sony could be interesting.
But Sony seems to lack support in terms of updates etc. (as far as i read opinions) - so this is a big minus there.
