I had an M92 for a little over a year and the screen cracked. I haven't returned it or sent it for repair because of the cost of shipping and the new screen. Given that broken screens aren't covered by the warranty I don't think it's right to assess the build quality on the number of devices being returned - I really liked the device but it still doesn't make sense to me to pay out another $200 and other people could be in the same situation.

My screen damage occurred when the device was sitting on my desk in its case. I didn't use it for a week or so and I'm guessing in that time some books or papers were placed on the case and the weight was enough to crack the screen. My view is that it's the case that is substandard not the actual M92. The front flap has raised padding which presses against the screen and transmits any pressure directly onto the most fragile part of the device.

If I do get the screen repaired I'll definitely buy a better case and not use the one it came with
