Thanks. It took me about 5-8 hrs to make (always depending on how long you can wait until carrying out the next step, like when you're gluing and so).
I guess I could have made it easier using my router table. But I wanted it to be working the 1st time and was afraid that the router could rip the wood. I didn't use it that often yet, so I don't have that much experience. Once I do my next project, I'll give it a try on the L-shaped profile to see how it works.

As an addition, I bought a silicone case for toting around at home. I think that if you made the book case to fit the ipad including the silicone case would be perfect. This way you could take it out for use at home and put it in the "book" for on the go.
Maybe I'll give it another try once I've set up a little wood shop in my garage.
