I am also looking for an alternative since I had been using calibre to sort and manage my books, but now it will not read books on my kindle fire hd.
AND in response to the comment regarding a large book collection it is not necessarily pirating. I have a large collection that I have been gathering for years simply by searching the free book offers daily. Its rude to assume wrong doing when you don't even know a person.
