Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who likes the STR's stiff page buttons. My wife had a Kindle 3 and every single time I picked it up it would change multiple pages. I've been trained by multiple touchscreen devices to always pick stuff up by the bezel, and even though that Kindle 3 wasn't a touch device I still did that because that's what my brain was trained to do. With the Nook, I can pick it up by the bezel and *not* accidentally change pages because the buttons are stiff enough to resist the light amount of pressure from picking up the device. I have to consciously act to get a page change, which is good.
