Amazon Prime Day 2021: date and the deals we expect to see

This is a lengthy article filled with the usual predictions, but it also includes deals from last year's Prime Day to give you an idea of the savings you might expect.

Quote:
Amazon Prime Day 2021 has been set for June this year, a little earlier than traditionally scheduled. While we still don't know an exact Prime Day date, a recent announcement revealed a June timeframe for this year's sales event. That means there's potentially just weeks left to prepare, which is why we're showing you everything you need to know about this year's Amazon Prime Day deals right here.

The annual 48 hour sale offers up Prime Day deals that seem to get bigger and better every year. While last year's event was delayed to October after the global pandemic, the retailer still saw a 45.2% increase in global sales compared to 2019. That means a record-breaking $10.4 billion-worth of goods were bought at Amazon during the two-day sale, according to Digital Commerce 360 data - and we fully expect the retailer to go all-out again for Amazon Prime Day 2021.

You'll either need an Amazon Prime membership to take part in the event, or to sign up for a free 30-day trial of Prime. But you don't need to wait for a Prime Day deal to save money at Amazon: there are hundreds of discounts every day on everything from laptops and TVs to cordless vacuums, clothing and kitchen appliances.

quite a bit more...
