The only driver in the calibre codebase that matches that set of USB ids is the driver for the PD Novel, I don't see how calibre could have detected it as anything else before. The PD Novel requires books to be in the eBooks directory on the card and not in subdirectories. Put your files there and calirbe will see them with the PD Novel driver, or alternatively create a custom driver:
