Install kindlepdfviewer or Duokan.

in kindlepdfviewer use two-point cropping to remove margins then turn into landscape mode or use fit-to-content-width (if there is OCR layer) then again landscape mode or try zooming in by 10,20,30 %
you can also use reflow if it is not to slow for your liking

Before k2pdfopt i would also use Briss or PDF Scissors to quickly and roughly crop pdf margins around handwritten text and then k2pdfopt for pdf reflow or landscape mode without reflow.
