A favour of Kindlefolks?

My own wee house, which made do with PDF downloads of its paperbacks until fairly recently (in fact, until I discovered MobileRead a year ago this week and learned the error of our ways), is currently doing in-house conversions to ePub and Mobi because we're none too sure of the job done by some third-party auto-conversion retailers where errors seem to be generated through no fault of our own.

We've just prepared the first Mobi format of one novel (looks OK on Kindle software download on a PC) ... and suddenly realised that nobody on the team has a local pal who actually owns a Kindle to check it out on the machine itself.

If someone has five minutes to spare (you only need to actually read the novel if it appeals -- details on the bookstore section of our site below), I'd really appreciate your taking a glance to be sure that layout looks OK and that a little Spanish punctuation in the book, Notes from the Lightning God, converts accurately. We'll do a full editorial re-proof, as with all conversions, when this reaches the top of an overloaded in-tray.
