I appreciate that as an IT professional, you are a stickler for correct terminology. But I was also merely pointing out, that while neither Flash, not HTML5 are
currently a "standard," according to your own definition, at least Flash is in a position where "everyone uses it," and HTML5 is not.
Thus, iPad not supporting the "everyone uses it" technology of today, may be at a disadvantage, with those members of the public, who just want to see what "everyone" else can see on the web.
