No, there is no way to mass move books from Amazon to a device. For all their "You can store thousands of books on a device" literature, Amazon really seems to expect their users to only .... download one book, read a book, download another book, read a book

Their system just isn't designed well to easily set-up or manage large libraries all at once. Calibre blows them out of the water in that.
