Hi - Thank you for your reply - I reopened calibre in debug mode and include the log - I'm running windows 8 - The strange thing is that until I ran the calibre updates my Kobo Arc was connected to Calibre for long enough to download some of my books into it - Now however, I'm unable to delete or add any - By the way I do not have iTunes, it is not a service that I subscribe to - Thank you for any help you are able to offer.
