One more thing, I forgot to mention that I also feel vibes of Gone Girl here. I'm not sure if there'll be any revelation like the one in that novel (which I won't mention what it is exactly to not spoil anyone), but certainly the narration of a mystery going back and forth between a married couple, and centred heavily on their marriage, is similar.
