I'm all over the place, but I do tend to avoid some genres. I stopped reading horror after university and I don't read romance or historical fiction for the most part. Anything else is totally fair game and this year I've read: fantasy, science fiction, Classics, literature, fiction, mystery, contemporary fiction, young adult, non-fiction (parenting, information architecture, urban planning).

A favourite genre would probably be fantasy which would account for about 17/51 books this year and then contemporary or modern fiction.
