"The email that we sent you earlier had a bad link to Jo Walton's story. We don't know how it happened, but we suspect foul play (or a botched copy/paste, but "foul play" sounds more sinister, or at least more interesting). Apologies for that, and for the double mailing today. Here's the correct info, with the correct link:

Tor.com is delighted to present a new short story from Jo Walton, author of Farthing and its sequels Ha'penny and Half a Crown (collectively the Small Change trilogy). The series is set in an alternate historical continuum in which Britain struck an early truce with Hitler. Her latest story, "Escape to Other Worlds with Science Fiction," is set in the America of that world.
Jo Walton is a British fantasy and science fiction writer who makes her home in Canada. Born in 1964, her first published novel was The King's Peace (2000), followed by The King's Name (2001). In 2002 she won the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer, and subsequently published two more fantasy novels, The Prize in the Game (2002) and the World Fantasy Award-winning novel Tooth and Claw (2003)."
