So it turns out Night Shade Books-published author Bradley P. Beaulieu, from whom we've previously received
an official freebie is hosting a Kickstarter project to make an e-book collection of his short stories.
The funding is already successful, and as an added bonus incentive to help purchase illustrations for the stories, Beaulieu has upped the rewards for the various pledge levels, so that your basic $5 pledge will not only get you a DRM-free ePub/Mobi/PDF bundle of the upcoming collection, but also e-book editions of two of his Night Shade fantasy novels,
The Winds of Khalakovo (previously free), and
The Straits of Galahesh ($6 at Baen).
The collection will include a newly written short story set in that world, alongside about a dozen previously-published short stories which have appeared in venues such as Realms of Fantasy magazine and various DAW anthologies.
This seems like a really good deal at 3 books of professionally edited material for $5, so here it is @
