They'll probably take your requests seriously provided there's an ebook of the title you want in other formats already (then they just have to contact the publisher to get an lrx version OK'd). If the ebook needs to be created from scratch I'm sure all they can do is pass the request on to the publisher and some publishers are more responsive to ebooks than others.
