Thanks very much. I had read the previous threads about some pages not loading, etc.--I think it was pdf and since I am technically challenged, I thought it best to stick to the easiest format to work with. I will follow your recommendation and do the epub downloaded to my pc.

The reader was gifted to me, so I want to get some use from it--a very nice gift idea. Too bad it won't be too long lived.

I had to wait in my car in the dark the other night and began reading one of the free books preloaded. The light was wonderful and it was very easy to read. I think it will be great for reading in bed and not disturbing my husband.

I'll continue to follow the posts on this site and when the Augen finally dies, I'll be looking for member's recommendations on a replacement.
