Ada Leverson (1862–1933)
The Limit (1911)
Ada Leverson was a close friend of Oscar Wilde, and wrote witty society novels which contain both acute observation and bon mots.
In this novel, a young married woman must choose how far to permit the attentions of a man friend. Meanwhile, her husband must set the limit of his toleration.
We now have all of Mrs. Leverson’s novels in the MR library.
