I think Sabatini and Wodehouse have gone away for awhile.

Leaves me with favorites Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe and Quentin Durward, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The White Company and Sir Nigel. And Nathaniel Hawthorne and lots of others.
