Others like "Nook" and "Stanza" don't. That would obviously make it a device/app peculiarity, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a workaround to prevent that??

I simply use the following:

h1.image {margin:0 auto; text-align:center}

<h1 id="cover" title="Cover" class="image"><img src="..Images/....jpg" alt="" height="98%" /></h1>

Thanks!
It's a quirk of the app. There's nothing you can do other then trying to contact the app makers about this and hope they fix it.
