Hi,
I have been using calibre for copying mobi files to my Kindle 3 (keyboard) directly through usb. As I am now also using Kindle for iOS, I want to have all my notes and highlights I've had so far synced across all my devices.

I realised that the books I had emailed to the Kindle are synced since there is a copy of them online, but the ones copied via usb do not. So I have tried emailing all my books to the online Kindle library, and then redownloading them to the kindle and then copying the original My Clippings file, but the downloaded books (now in azw format instead of mobi) do not recognise any of the notes and highlights from the My Clippings file, even though the books have exactly the same titles and author names.

Anybody can think of a way to get those azw files to read the notes and highlights so that they then can be synced online, or any other away around this problem?
