And, may I just say how peeved I am at this!
Back in the 80s, before "buffalo wings" became a big deal, I used to love buying chicken breast quarters for the hibachi on my back deck. I would fold the wing under, and it would shield the breast meat from the direct heat. It was easy to cook them, and they were actually a cheaper, pound for pound, than chicken breasts
sans wings.
Since the wings became popular on their own I can't even find breast quarters.
