FYI: There is an easy jailbreak for AppleTV2 using SeasOnPass which will enable it to run XMBC on your HTDV, iPhone*/iPad*. (Currently Mac only but working on windows)

*Note
installs on iPhone/Ipad via Cydia, and requires you to have Jailbroken device
