The Wall Street Journal creates a link to the printer friendly version by converting the original page:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122973669825423389.html

to

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...html#printMode

I'm using Sunrise Desktop 0.42j in Ubuntu, and it seems to treat the '#' as a comment character both in the Source URL and in the embedded edit script... Sunrise XP has the same behavior but the debugging isn't quite as easy.

Any ideas on how I might "escape" this character?

***

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...html#printMode

becomes

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122989967527124913.html

***

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...tml\#printMode

becomes

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...27124913.html/ (which fails)

***

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...ml\\#printMode

becomes

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...7124913.html// (which also fails)

***

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1229...ml%23printMode

retrieves the standard version

Thanks
