Yep, that's what we're doing. The "tenth" for the church is "baked" into the 56% of total tax I pay. But leaving the State Church does not give me 10% less tax, as I then have to pay extra tax on the "tax deduction" gained from not paying tax to the church.
So you see, this is a lose/lose situation for the taxpayer in Norway
