Roger Dee was the pseudonym used by Roger D. Aycock (1914-2004). This story is from the January, 1960 issue of Amazing Science Fiction Stories. The Gutenberg transcriber states that "extensive research did not uncover any evidence that the U.S. copyright of this publication was renewed." Other scifi works by the author include The Star Dice and An Earth Gone Mad.
