Name-In-A-Song Game

In this game, each individual posts a song title that features the name of a person. The rules are:

- Each song title can only be used once and must also include the artist. Posting a video for the song is encouraged.

(Added) - The name must be a part of the song's actual title. Even if it is commonly known by a different title that title can't be used, only the actual title.

- Each name can only be used once. Indicate the name in the song title by making it bold, especially if the song contains more than one person's name or a first and last name (see below).

(Added) - Back-to-back posts by the same individual are not allowed.

-- The first name, last name, and first and last name together each count as separate names for this game. Example: If a song title features "Barry Manilow" it can count as either "Barry," "Manilow," or "Barry Manilow."

-- The first name, last name, and first and last name together each count as separate names for this game. Example: If a song title features "Barry Manilow" it can count as either "Barry," "Manilow," or "Barry Manilow." The use of one of the names doesn't prevent someone from using one of the others (if someone else uses "Barry Manilow" someone else can use "Barry" and "Manilow" as long as they use a different song).

(Added) - Variations of the same basic name each count as separate names. Example: The following names are all considered separate names:

-- Catherine
-- Katherine
-- Cathy
-- Kathy

-- If a song contains more than one person's name, it only counts for the one name that you select. Example: In the song Abraham, Martin And John by Dion, you may select any of the names, and other posters can use the names that you didn't select with other songs.

-- Nicknames are also allowed as long as they refer to a specific person.

(Added on 1 Jan 2017) -- Foreign-language songs are allowed as long as the actual name of the song contains a person's name in accordance with the other rules in this post, and the poster indicates the name in the song title by making it bold.

-- A "name" in a title only counts if it refers to a person. Example: The song One Jack Off by Cledus T. Judd does not qualify because the word "Jack" refers to a playing card, not to a person named "Jack."

-- A "name" in a title only counts if it refers to a sentient being, including fictional sentient beings and mythological beings. This includes a cartoon character who is basically a human in an animal skin (such as Huckleberry Hound, Deputy Dawg, Alvin And The Chipmunks, and Underdog). However, the song One Jack Off by Cledus T. Judd does not qualify because the word "Jack" in the title refers to a playing card (that he needed to fill out a straight), not to a sentient being named "Jack."

(Added)-- Instrumentals may be used as long as the name of the song includes a person's name.

(Added 24 Jan 2019)-- Back-to-back posts by the same individual are not allowed.

(Added 24 Jan 2019)-- If a post is invalid (for example it contains a previously used song) it is automatically invalid for the game and will be disregarded as if it had not been posted (it cannot be later edited to make it valid). In that case, the previous valid post is still the last post.

(Added 24 Jan 2019)-- Two (or more songs) that are a parody of the same song may be used as long as the lyrics are significantly different from the original song and from each other.

Winning The Game: The game will continue until no one has posted for 5 full days (if the last post is on a Monday, Tuesday is the first full day, Wednesday is the second full day, and so on). This will give everyone adequate time to post. After the 5th full day without a post, the last person who posted will be the winner.

I hope you enjoy this game.

To start the game:
