I am really really really going to have to refactor that menu system anyway for the lower devices.

There is no way to navigate "off the top" of the tree-view using just the 5-way controller.. and even if there was a way... the SELECTED item would always be the top one...

What about making a single-click event cause a - JUMP to the top menu...

or

even better remove the top menu and replace it with a pop-up menu (wrapped in a "GtkScrollView") this would allow for MANY more option/items... and it would work an all devices. this would also preserve the SELECTED ITEM in all cases...

Thoughts on that?
