Well, as you can see the court did consider it necessary to specify what needs to be in the apology, put limits on the size of the text, and where the apology should be placed, so trying to circumvent the decision by making the apology less visible was something that the court expected, not a childish game.

Also Apple did get something out of their behavior. They were initially supposed to run the apology with the link to the court decision for 6 months on their UK homepage. Now they run it for one month on another page.
