I just got an iphone and found that textonphone.com was the best way for me to read ebooks. You can upload your own text to the site and using the safari browser read your book. It caches ahead quite a bit, too. You can alter font, font color and font size on the fly. Working well for me. Also, they have plenty of ebooks on line already.

Very easy on the eyes. Overcame my reluctance to purchase the phone. 3rd party apps are just around the corner in June, I hope for true native applications.

Edit: Yikes, how did I get my email as a user name!? Would a moderator please help me out and change it to just my last name. Thanks.
