Apologies if this has already been answered, but the quick & dirty way to see if a given book is for sale on the iBookstore is to use this url:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/book/isbn1111111111111
replace the 1s with your 13-digit isbn.
I believe you can also replace
us with uk, fr, whatever.
