They are more or less in sync now, feature wise.
Android update on Aug 29 adds filter for ‘books borrowed from public library’. The iOS app doesn’t have that yet. And it has several features iOS app does not have (pinch/spread gesture to adjust text size, Word Wise, Word Runner, Book Updates, and of course in-app purchase).
The iOS app has the more or less useless Goodreads Community view. More importantly it supports iPad features like Slide Over, Split Screen. With iOS 13, there is opportunity to support custom fonts, multiple documents (iPad), and ability to import from internal storage directly. We’ll see how that goes.
