Genuine colour eInk is still a way off. All that's available at the moment is the Triton "colour" eInk screen, which is a 4-colour mask placed in front of a standard B&W screen. Not only does this give murky, unsaturated colours, but it also halves the linear resolution of the screen, which is very undesirable.
I suspect that we will see Kindle models in the not too distant future using larger, higher-resolution screens.
