if you are so eager to do it yourself, please follow disassembling instructions here first. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=178058

Take care of FFC (flexible flat cable) which connects control button to the mainboard - it is easy to break those contacts - you will have to solder them afterwards.
Be also carefull by detaching of the screen from inductive panel - it is attached by doublesided adhesive tape. Please dont hurt yourself - brocken screen could have got dangerously sharp edges .

As soon as you are able to detach screen - half of the job is done.
Look at the voltage label of the screen. It should be a number like -1.37 (a value between -1,10 and -1,60). When you place an order for a replacement screen, please ask the seller for a screen with at least similar value.
If you have luck you will get a screen from a batch with same waveform version as used in your device. In other case you will experience some troubles with contrast and correct presentation of grey levels. In this case you should ask the seller for a waveform file and must be able to get to console of the device (i.e. using special developers USB cable) to be able to install it. Please ask your distributor for root password (console) of your device.

Please don't bend FFC of the screen - it could damage conductors in the FFC. Hard to repair issue. Just fix it carefully with adhesive tape.

You can also try to install a recovery update. Afterwards in main menu you will get a voltage adjustment tool. Just set your voltage value to the same value like on label of your new screen (using joystik). This tool will disappear after setting have been done from main menu.

PS: I still suggest you let our specialist do this repair - we have know-how and can do it fast.
