Actually, no. Your library will sync automatically if you connect to the desktop software or hit the sync button - one of which you *HAVE* to do during setup. Only way to prevent a library download is to log in to
https://www.kobobooks.com/ and remove the books you don't want from your library (they will still be in the list of purchases).
